LEGEND OF THE HAWKMAN

Set soon after Hawkman and his wife Shayera - Hawkgirl - arrived on Earth from their homeworld of Thanagar, the 3-issue LEGEND OF THE HAWKMAN miniseries explores the motivation behind the heroes' decision to stay on an alien planet after the mission that brought them to Earth in the first place was completed.

Written by Ben Raab (BEAST BOY, Union Jack) with dazzling art and covers by Michael Lark (SUPERMAN: WAR OF THE WORLDS, ALL STAR COMICS, TERMINAL CITY), the exciting, atmospheric story finds the alien couple arguing about the decision to stay on Earth. While Katar believes that they can gain profound insights into their own lives by staying, wife Shayera wants to return to Thanagar. But the argument is interrupted by news of an archaeological find that demands their presence: a find that connects to an ancient Thanagarian legend of "The Fallen One" and a menace that threatens to end Hawkman's heroic family legacy - a legacy that spans two worlds and at least that many millennia!
