THE ARTISTS: MURPHY ANDERSON

As a comics professional for more than 50 years, Anderson is best known for his work during the Silver Age of comics at DC. He was primarily an inker, working over the pencils of artists such as Carmine Infantino, Gil Kane, Mike Sekowsky and Curt Swan on books such as Batman, Flash, Superman and Justice League of America. Anderson has also penciled many books for DC, such as The Atomic Knights, Captain Comet, Hawkman, and The Spectre. Anderson also worked on the syndicated comic strip Buck Rogers. Currently he runs Murphy Anderson Visual Concepts, a support group for comics publishers.
