Synopsis:

Arriving in New York, Flamebird and Changeling encounter a Wildebeest, but the Titans investigation of this is cut short when the murder of Libby Lawrence's fiancé is discovered. Jesse Quick is devastated, more so when it transpires that her mother was the one who called 911 but has subsequently gone missing. As the Titans investigate, Changeling makes the acquaintance of the five kids who have been living in Titans Tower, soon taking them out on patrol with him and Flamebird, where they encounter another Wildebeest. And at Libby Lawrence's apartment, Nightwing, Jesse and Tempest discover an intruder - Libby herself, searching for clues, just as they did. She says that she suspects Philip was cheating on her and that it was his lover that killed him. Jesse says this isn't true and when asked how she knows this, she reveals that she was Philip's lover...
