Synopsis:

Six of the Titans set off for the Vegan system to help out Starfire's people, who are under attack from the Gordanians. On Earth, meanwhile, Damage has to attend his uncle's trial and Nightwing works on a way to restore Cyborg to a human body. Off-planet, the Titans split up to aid the Tamaranians on various fronts of their war. However, both Cyborg and Troia feel that something is 'wrong', particularly as the invading Gordanians do not seem particularly well mobilised.

Back on Earth, the trial has unearthed a number of bad memories for Damage. Arsenal takes him on a camping trip, where Grant reveals that as well as having an insane super-villain for an uncle, he suffered abuse at the hands of his supposed father during his childhood. Meanwhile, both Troia, through watching Starfire's actions, and Tempest (who is captured by the Gordanians) discover that they seem to be on the wrong side of the fight. It is the Tamaranians who are the aggressors, invading the Gordanian home planet of Karna.
