Comment: This issue takes place the day after #1 and the story continues directly in #3.

Synopsis:

Deathstroke the Terminator, having killed his faithful retainer Wintergreen, stalks the new group of Teen Titans, who have enough problems of their own. Wonder Girl doesn't want to be part of a group that reminds her of Donna Troy's death, Superboy wants to deny the new evidence about his DNA, refusing to let Robin tell anyone else about it, and Impulse simply feels lost. An explosion draws them into a rescue mission at Alcatraz, where Deathstroke stuns Impulse, then, saying that "kids shouldn't wear costumes", shoots him in the knee.
