Synopsis:

Bobo fights and defeats Crusher as Smudge leads Jack to Culp's lair. Meanwhile, the Phantom Lady plus Clarence and Mason O'Dare rally the people of Opal to fight and Matt O'Dare saves the Shade from the Spider. On the negative side, the Bodines interrupt Adam Strange's work and Barry O'Dare, who has turned renegade, informs his brothers that he has captured Faith and Charity, two of their loved ones.

Ted Knight confronts Phosphoros and Mikaal confronts Solomon Grundy, but in each case there is an interested third party: Ragdoll and Frankie Soul, each with a grudge against the Starman concerned. And the confrontation between Jack and Culp is interrupted first by the Mist, who is ordered to kill Jack, and then by the Shade himself.
