Feature Character: The Spectre (also in flashback in between ??? and Brave and the Bold #180)

Guest Stars: Mister Terrific I (deceased; as a spirit; next in Starman Vol. 2 #37); Flash I, Green Lantern (Alan Scott), Hawkman I, Dr. Fate, Power Girl (as the Justice Society of America; all six in flashback in between Justice League of America #172 and Adventure Comics #466; see Comment below)

Supporting Characters: Nate Kane; Dian Belmont (last in Starman Vol. 2 #23)

Villains: The Spirit King (last in Justice League of America #172), Shaitan (both in flashback to pre-Crisis); Doctah (a street gang leader), Lobobo (his right hand; first appearance of both)

Other Characters: Mister Terrific II (Michael Holt; first appearance); Jamal, Dwayne, Tito (first appearance of all three; three street punks)

Comment: Allthough the Justice Society of America is next seen Adventure Comics #466, as they take off for the funeral of Mr. Terrific, it should be noted that the rest of the story (showcasing Power Girl and Huntress of Earth-2) is no longer part of current DC continuity (neither are the appearances of Superman of Earth-2, and Wonder Woman of Earth-2, who according to current continuity have never been members of the Justice Society). However the flashback sequence in that same story is still considered in-continuity (exept for the appearance of Wonder Woman).
