Synopsis:
Morpheus searches the dreams of a Martian and a God for his ruby. These heroes, who had long ago confiscated it from a madman, reveal its location: a neglected warehouse. Also bound for that warehouse is the madman John Dee. His goal: to use the ruby to "drive everyone in the world mad." Newly escaped from Arkham Asylum, he hijacks a car at gunpoint. The motorist shows Dee sympathy; he repays her with a fatal bullet. Morpheus is first to claim the ruby, but - corrupted by Dee - it drains him. Dee snatches the ruby and disappears into the night.
