Synopsis:

Clark Kent accompanies Pete Ross to an early briefing at the White House, where Pete and Lana are vattacked by the Master Jailer and Neutron, who tell Superman, when he arrives, that they are not after the vice president per se, but they are after his friends. Clark is able to rescue them, but wonders what's going on.
