Synopsis:

Superman encounters a giant ape-like creature causing chaos in Chicago and discovers that the ape is responding to a telepathic call for help. He investigates and discovers that Hector Hammond is being tortured by a 'therapist' called Saunders. He frees Hammond from this cage, and ensures that the ape is not caged either.
