Comment: Beginning this issue and throughout the River Run storyline, Swamp Thing journeys through various alternate universes as described in the different chapters of Anna's unfinished book "River Run". Anna herself also appears in all chapters as a character in her book; in these appearances however she is to be considered an alternate universe counterpart of the the character from the previous issue.
