Comment: This Swamp Thing sequences of this story takes place during the late 18th century. Rip Hunter and Jeff Smith's appearance in this story is somewhat retconned in Time Masters #5, as it is revealed that they are not actually present in the time bubble, but rather just testing it out while both firmly planted in the future.
