This story takes place two years ago. Synopsis: On a trip to Hong Kong, Superboy meets Danny Tsang, a young stuntman working for Fragrant Habour Films. He retells the story of how he had an accident while shooting a scene at S.T.A.R. Labs Hong Kong. After falling into a vat of undentified liquid, the boy's meta-gene was triggered, and he was suddenly filled with electrical energy, like a living battery. He did not get the ability to focus his power though, so his techno-whiz friend Charlie Lau has built all sorts of gadgets for him to load with his power and use in his profession. However, after the film they worked on became a huge failure, director Dickson Kurata gave himself the same "super-power treatment" as Tsang did, and got the uncanny power to make his movie characters come alive. As the Golden Sorcerer, the embittered Kurata threatens all of Hong Kong until being defeated by the team of Superboy and Danny Tsang – now calling himself "Striker Z." The impressed Superboy gives Danny the advice to try the superhero business, and Danny thinks that may not be a bad idea... | |||||||||||
