Synopsis:
The three remaining partners of the Power Company cope with Josiah's absence in their own ways. Manhunter and Witchfire strike sort of an alliance to prevent Skyrocket to stand in their way when theim aim for money and fame. They agree on hiring a new associate while Josiah is ill, a well-known superhero who can boost their image.
Skyrocket attempts to get business moving by personally approaching potential clients . Lacking the diplomacy of Josiah, she is unable to convince the people of S.T.A.R. Labs that the threat of Doctor Polaris and the Cadre is real.
Meanwhile, Manhunter and Witchfire are not as picky about who is consulting them. While Manhunter takes on missions from mobsters and international criminals, Witchfire's clients are of a more arcane kind. The demonic Trinus Lords and Ashtopeth scare the Company staff senseless as they arrive for their meeting. The associates and the rest of the staff do not approve of Manhunter's and Witchfire's actions, and put all their hope in Skyrocket.
On the Company's answering machine, Firestorm says "yes" to their membership offer.
