Synopsis:

Kate Spencer escapes her exploding car and tracks down Shadow Thief, who is trying to escape from Cheshire. The three of them have a confrontation which ends when both Kate and Cheshire are poisoned by Cheshire's black mamba venom. Kate ensures that Shadow Thief is recaptured, then heads to the home of Dylan Battles, who provides her with an antidote. The next morning at the trial, Kate brings Ed and Felicity Raymond in as witnesses in order to show the human side of the murder victim, Firestorm. Elsewhere, Merlyn, Monocle and Phobia watch the coverage of the trial and plan their attack.
