Synopsis:

Kate's son Ramsey is rushed to hospital in a critical condition following the explosion of Kate's staff. His father Peter is distraught and is convinced that it is Kate's fault, which, to be fair, it is. She takes to the streets that night, angry with herself and with the world. Here, she encounters Shadow-Thief, who wants revenge for the death of Copperhead. He battles her madly, almost killing her before the light from a police helicopter causes a disruption. He then flees the scene, to meet with some others, while Kate realises she's going to need help if the Manhunter gig is going to be permanent - she got lucky with Copperhead, and next time, she could easily be killed.
