Synopsis:

While standing duty on the JLA watchtower, J'onn is contacted by former colleague Gypsy, who says she urgently needs his help. She is deeply disturbed because among all the other weirdness that's going on - demons on the streets and what have you - she sees a vision of their deceased friend Vibe. J'onn and Gypsy investigate and come under attack from the reanimated remains of a variety of former Justice Leaguers, who seemingly kill Gypsy. Fleeing with her body, J'onn has a vision of the Martian god of fire Hronmeer who gives him hope and returns Gypsy to him. Returning to the fray, J'onn transfers his memories of his team-mates goodness into the cadavers fighting him, and they are consumed with fire by the conflict of motivations.
