Synopsis:

The Martian Manhunter is dead - as the JLA informs the DEO, the body has been found, making this fairly conclusive. However, the JLA are still not convinced that J'onn is responsible for the atrocities he is accused of, and suspect the presence of an intruder in the watchtower. Malefic is not at all pleased by this new development, and decides to kill the JLA.

Down on Earth, a small segment of J'onn's body, into which he had transferred his soul, awakens and, prompted by the horrific memories of the past few days in which his friends have turned against him, begins the search for Malefic, taking on mass from the Earth to bring him up to his normal size.
