Synopsis:

The Justice Society, like many other heroes, do their best to protect their loved ones following the tragic death of Sue Dibny. Some of them, including Wildcat, Stargirl and S.T.R.I.P.E., help in the efforts to get information out of the super-villain community, while Doctor Mid-Nite - aided by Mister Terrific - performs the autopsy on Sue's body. Eventually, Doctor Mid-Nite makes a discovery at the microscopic level which tells him who Sue's killer was. And back in 1951, Per Degaton watches the Justice Society retire following a House Un-American Activities Committee campaign and relishes the chance to destroy them once and for all.
