Synopsis:

The Justice Society is under attack from Mordru, who has stolen the power of Doctor Fate, and is able to revert Sand to his monstrous silicon form and steal the Starheart power from Sentinel, though not kill him, as that task has been promised to Obsidian. He takes Sentinel to the shadowlands, followed by Captain Marvel and the Star-Spangled Kid. Mister Terrific is badly injured and Mordru causes Jakeem's vocal cords to fail. When Flash rushes them back to the JSA HQ for medical attention, he finds that Doctor Mid-Nite and Dove have been attacked by Eclipso.
