Synopsis:
The time-lost heroes of the JSA assist Prince Khufu and his court to battle the forces
of Vandal Savage. Nabu the Wise sends Shazam's champions from the two eras to the Western
Lands, where they summon the attention of Ra. Displeased to see his orb misused, Ra strips
Ahk-Ton of his powers and returns Vandal Savage to infancy. Teth-Adam then kills Akh-Ton,
avenging the murder of his family and so many of his countrymen. The war over, Nabu sends
the heroes home the only way he knows how, by placing them in an un-aging sleep in burial
caskets until retrieved by Black Adam millennia later. Captain Marvel tries to offer the
hand of friendship to his old foe, realising the debt he owes him, but is brushed aside,
for Black Adam claims that Marvel can never understand him. Doctor Fate then returns from
Gemworld and lifts the spell of sleep Mordru had cast on his comatose wife. He discovers,
however, that this has also lifted a spell of concealment - this is not his wife at all,
but Dove!
