Synopsis:

With most of the JSA missing, the three veterans, Flash, Wildcat and Sentinel, set out to help Black Canary and the rest of the heroic community fight the many villains that have been 'Jokerised'. The leave Jakeem Thunder and the Star-Spangled Kid in the JSA HQ out of danger, but danger soon comes knocking on the door in the form of Solomon Grundy, who has defaced the Statue of Liberty and knocked Alex Montez out cold. Grundy steals the pen which houses Jakeem's thunderbolt, and as Star attempts to battle him, it falls down the drain. Grundy says he knew exactly what he was doing when he killed the first Star-Spangled Kid and is about to complete the set when the pen leaps into Jakeem's hand and the thunderbolt is free. Jakeem commands it to burn Grundy from the inside out, which it promptly does, reducing him to dust, though he's bound to be back. The thunderbolt then sets about remaking the statue of liberty and Jakeem wishes Johnny Thunder could be cured of Alzheimers - and strangely enough, he is...
