Synopsis:

Sand is rather surprised when Hawkgirl suddenly kisses him, realising that it's only to feel intimate with anyone other than Hawkman. Meanwhile, Atom Smasher makes sure that his and Black Adam's confrontation descends to physical violence, despite Captain Marvel's appearance on the scene. Marvel had only come to tell the JSA that they should trust Black Adam, but feels he should also warn them that Theo Adam could regain control at any time.

Tensions between Sand and Hawkman come to a head and a leadership election is called, with the surprise winner being Mister Terrific. Before he has much of a chance to react to this, most of the JSA are sucked into one of Mister Terrific's T-spheres, which has been taken over by Roulette.
