Comment: Story continued from the previous issue and continues in the next issue.

Synopsis:

As Martian Manhunter plummets to Earth, Aquaman comes to his rescue and the two of them battle Despero together. Meanwhile, the League debate what should be done with the Secret Society of Super-Villains, but Zatanna tells them the debate is pointless - she will not change their memories again, and she wants no further association with the Justice League. She makes her way to Themyscira, where she talks with Wonder Woman, who has also had to face up to doing something that certain other League members do not agree with. Soon, in the Batcave, Batman is confronted by Despero who has Aquaman and Martian Manhunter under his mental control. It is not long before Batman is also under his command.
