Morrow Synopsis: The Atom is offered membership in the Justice League, but turns it down, choosing to focus more on his civilian role as a science professor. T.O.Morrow warns the JLA that an Amazo android is about to activate, but lies about the timing of the activation so that not all the available JLA members are present at the right time. As the team are trashed by their own powers, Oracle calls in a number of reserves who arrive, telling the android that he's got a much bigger JLA to deal with now, whereupon it exhibits even more powers than before. Eventually, the Atom arrives, taking his prompt from Steel's idea that the android has an adaptive programme that means it can duplicate all the powers of the League, no matter who the members may be. He simply tells Superman to declare the League disbanded for long enough to take out the android. The Atom agrees to serve as the JLA's scientific instructor and advisor, and admits he's somewhat looking forward to it. |
