Synopsis:

Wonder Woman has killed Maxwell Lord, the only way to release his hold on Superman, and suddenly the entire Justice League must deal with a huge range of emergencies across the globe. Meanwhile, Brother I begins a purging of Checkmate, causing the deaths of many of its agents and scientists. Sasha Bordeaux and Jessica Midnight escape from the cell where they are being held and make their way to the command centre, where they find Lord's bosy and realise that Brother I ordered the purge. The satellite also contacts its creator, Batman, who is recovering from wounds in the Batcave, taunting him with its actions. Batman watches as Bordeaux, Midnight, Martian Manhunter and Rocket Red al come under attack from OMAC Units with orders to kill their targets.
