When the head of the family, John Kellor, dies, his son Jack is supposed to take over. Jack is not as well-versed in magic as some of the other people of his organization, but secretly wields a limited degree of mind-expanding telepathy. However, Jack has not only to struggle to win the respect of rival crime bosses – he must also keep control of the Bocor, the immensely powerful voodoo magician who was the right-hand man of John Kellor. With the scarfaced mobster-turned-wizard Floyd at his side, Jack deals with his various duties as the head of the "family". But secretly, Jack plots to bring his father's empire to its knees. |
