Synopsis:

Green Lantern and Nero do battle in space, both tapping in to an unimaginable reserve of power, and both determined to claim this power for their own. Despite a brief interruption from the Qward, Green Lantern gradually gains more control until he is in full command of the power. He is met by the Spectre who reminds him of the dangers of great power, and offers him the possibility of going back and never becoming Green Lantern. But Kyle accepts his destiny and emerges changed as Ion.
