Synopsis:

Minister Illus receives word that a group of terrorists, those responsible for the horrendous bombing, are planning to expose themselves to vapours which will give them incredible power. They are unaware that this power comes with a price, and Illus hopes that they can be warned; the leader of the terrorists is his cousin. He also learns that his counterpart on the 'other side' of the disagreement has been assassinated.

Kyle and Jade are too late to stop the terrorists and battle them as they grow ever more monstrous and finally simply fall apart. When they return to the city, they hear that Illus and his family have been assassinated. Kyle realises that they must go home, as there is nothing they can do here; after all, which side should they choose to fight for?
