Synopsis:

Wally West comes to his senses in Keystone City Police Department, accused of working in conjunction with a costumed felon who killed officer Nick Kelly, whom the Flash knows as Argus. The cops do not recognise him, but his retina scan shows up as Wally West, school teacher and track coach from Blue Valley. Even worse, he appears to have lost his speed, though not his connection to the speed force, as he still has his speed force costume. He is put in a cell while the Police Department go to deal with The Thinker.

Wally is visited by a social worker, who dopes him with a combined truth serum and sedative. When he comes to once more, he sees Barry Allen outside the cell window and tries to vibrate out. He fails, but causes a disturbance which attracts Officer Mick Rory, known to Wally as Heat Wave. He is about to come and rough Wally up, but is killed by Captain Cold, who breaks Wally out of his cell.
