Comment: These three pages are "lost" pages, that go in between pages 16 and 17 of Sandman Vol. 2 #72. Time constraints of the monthly series meant that these three pages weren't drawn until it was decided to do them for inclusion in the hardcover collection of Sandman: The Wake. A week before the publication of the collection they were made available in this issue.
