INDEX THE UNOFFICIAL GUIDE TO THE DC UNIVERSE

 WELCOME TO THE NEW DC CHRONOLOGY PROJECT 

   The DC Chronology Project is an effort to catalog every actual appearance by every character and team in the DC Universe, and place them in their proper chronological order. Although the layout has changed, the DCP is based upon the work of Jimmy Flowers who created the original DC Chronology Project. As Jimmy has since moved on we've decided to continue the work he started as a part of the Unofficial Guide to the DC Universe.

   To go directly to the listing of any particular character simply click on the first letter of their name (every character is listed first name first, surname second), and the Project will take you to an alphabetical listing of all characters starting with that letter. However, if this is your first visit to the DCP it might be a good idea to check out the FAQ first.

   The FAQ (or Frequently Asked Questions) explains more about how the project works, what qualifies as an "appearance," and why there are still some gaps in the project among other things.

   This site also owes a great debt to Russ Chappell, administrator of the Marvel Chronology Project, the Marvel Universe equivalent to the DCP. The MCP has been around for years and had it not been for that site the DC version might never have been created.

   Also be sure to check out the "Incredible Internet Guide to Comic Books and Superheroes" written by Jimmy Flowers, which besides a listing of over 1900 comic book sites includes 1300 character and team appearance chronologies.
