Synopsis:

Bruce Wayne goes to Lady Shiva for training, enduring weeks of pain at her hands before even approaching his previous level of skill. She says that his training will not be over until he masters the Leopard Blow, which causes instant death, a move he refuses to learn. To bring about some field training for Wayne, she kills a sensei while wearing the mask of tengu, the mask of a bat, knowing that his seven disciples will seek revenge. Donning the mask of tengu himself, Bruce defeats the first two, without killing them. Batman, meanwhile, is pursuing gunrunners, one of whom he believes to be his old foe Carlton LeHah.
