Synopsis:

The new Batman sees a vision of St Dumas, and believes he is now on a crusade to clean up Gotham, starting with Gotham's crime families. He saves Don Mercante from a hit and uses this leverage to get Mercante to supply him with information. Mercante, however, organises an assassin - Mekros - to take out both a criminal rival and the Batman. Unfortunately for him, Batman cottons on to this and the bullet meant for him kills Don Mercante instead.
