Synopsis:

Batman, the police force and the Joker have all discovered that Curtis Base is posing as the Clown Prince of Crime and endeavour to track him down. Base's two sidekicks are captured and a final confrontation occurs at the chemical factory where it (possibly) all started for the Joker. Here, Base plunges into a vat of acid, hoping to make himself into a true likeness of the Joker, but is killed. The Joker is arrested, despite both Commissioner Gordon and Batman wishing that he could be killed.
