Synopsis:

Batman is getting used to being back in Gotham and dealing with what his fill-in has done. Commissioner Gordon calls him in to help with a multiple shooting, and while he investigates, Batman recalls the events that led him to be the man he is now, particularly the murder of his parents by an unknown mugger. He brings the criminal in, knowing that Gotham needs Batman, but also knowing that he needs to step back from it all for a time...
