Synopsis:

Batman encounters an illegal immigrant who has come to Gotham in order to buy back her baby. Initially reluctant, he helps her to track down first the Gotham end of a bab smuggling operation and then the child itself. The experience causes him to wonder what his life would have been like had he ever known his mother.
