Renée Montoya Villains: Riddler Guest Appearance: Tailor (last in flashback in Detective Comics #791/2, next in Detective Comics #789/2) Comment: A third detective appears with Allen and Montoya. He looks somewhat like Josh Azeveda from Gotham Central, but not absolutely right. Plus, Azeveda is on the opposite shift to Allen and Montoya, so as it is not entirely clear whether this is him, he has not been listed. Comment: Story continued from previous issue and continues in the next issue Synopsis: The Joker and his henchmen have a standoff with 'Hush', and are able to rescue the Riddler from him. The Penguin believes this is a foolish action of the part of the Joker, as Tommy Elliot is not a man to be sought as an enemy. But the Riddler has a name for the Joker, a name he has been searching for - Oliver Hammet, the identity of the man who killed his wife. Meanwhile, Batman discovers that Hush is still alive and back in Gotham, still blaming him for his father's death. Robin visits the Tailor for some more equipment, shortly before the outfitter is approached by Elliot, who wants to but his exclusive services. The Tailor declines, and suggests that the newcomer to Gotham's underworld get some help from another dangerous man - Prometheus. |
