Synopsis:

Khatera has been studying death and rebirth, transforming the terminally ill into reanimated mummies after their death. She now has a young, vital subject to experiment on: Tim Drake. But Batman comes to his rescue, and during his battle with Killer Croc, Khatera has time to realise she doesn't truly wish to be a murderer. She just wants to die. Through his contacts as Bruce Wayne, Batman funds Khatera's research until she discovers a cure for her immortality and can live happily knowing that she has only a normal span of years left to her.
