Synopsis:

The Thirst and Aquaman have merged into one being, with the Thirst in control. He heads over the Heavenspan, where the guardian troll Modg says that victory may come in surrender, and reaches the sanctuary of the Lady of the Lake. Here Aquaman heeds the troll's words and surrenders the the Thirst, so reawakening the stricken Lady of the Lake. The waters of life flow again as the river goddesses are returned to their full glory, and the sorcery that is causing sea life to mutate is halted, putting a stop to Hagen's plans. Aquaman returns to Mizen Head, where he discovers that his friend McCaffrey is dead, then heads toward Atlantis, able to swin the oceans again, ready to take back his kingdom.
